Buzzing Through Melksham Carnival 2026 🐝
The Melksham Homecare team had a fantastic time taking part in this year's Melksham Carnival, joining hundreds of local residents in celebrating one of the town's most cherished traditions.
The day began with plenty of excitement as our mascot, BeeWell, got ready for the procession. Before the parade started, we were delighted to welcome the Carnival Butterfly Princess, whom we were proud to sponsor this year. It was lovely to see her stop by for a chat and a photo before taking her place in the procession.
One of the most special moments of the day was seeing our grandmother, the very person who inspired us to create Melksham Homecare, enjoying the carnival celebrations. Watching her smile, wave to the crowds from the lead car, and soak up the atmosphere was a reminder of why our journey began. Her wish to remain independent at home inspired us to build a care service centred around dignity, compassion, and family values.
Despite the warm weather, Jacob proudly took on the role of BeeWell, walking the entire carnival route and bringing smiles to faces along the way. From children waving excitedly to families stopping for photos, BeeWell certainly received a warm welcome from the Melksham community.
Events like Melksham Carnival are about more than just a procession. They bring people together, celebrate community spirit, and create memories that last a lifetime. We are proud to support local events that make Melksham such a wonderful place to live. A huge thank you to everyone who waved, smiled, said hello, or stopped for a photo with BeeWell. We loved being part of such a fantastic day and are already looking forward to next year.
